Design + Build: Studio Lingo

In a century-old bungalow, ill-conceived room additions added over time by various neglectful owners left the master suite with the smallest bathroom in the house, at just 38 SF. The new design takes advantage of an unused, small bedroom which flanked the master, carving out the space and converting it to a proper master bath scaled appropriately for a home of over 2,500 SF.

Partitions of Douglas fir, Spanish porcelain, and frosted glass, a zero-entry shower, and a new interior clerestory combine to create a free-flowing wet room with natural light spread throughout.
