HILL HOUSE TRACTOR SHED

Georgetown, DE | 1,056 SF

Design: Studio Lingo | Builder: Chief Construction

Formerly parked in a dilapidated early 1900’s chicken coop, this old tractor was in need of a new home. Originally intending to build a cookie-cutter ‘pole barn’, the client instead tasked Studio Lingo with developing a scheme using the same post-frame construction methods at a comparable price point. Thankfully for the client, and the tractor, we were successful.

The resulting structure is a modern take on the local vernacular of a lean-to chicken coop, providing all of the equipment storage and workshop space needed to keep this family farm going into the next generation.
